4th November: Open Studio

Join us for traditional Chinese cultural events!

We are pleased to announce that we are one of the businesses in the Elevate Entrepreneur Program at UOB's The Exchange! To celebrate this milestone in our entrepreneurial journey, we invite you to join us for an Open Studio event on November 4th. We offer you a glimpse into the world of Chinese culture and handicrafts. There will be a series of engaging cultural activities, including oracle bone script drawing and paper cutting. I will also prepare Chinese tea and cookies for you.

Chinese Paper Cutting

Chinese traditional paper cutting, known as "jianzhi" (剪纸), is a revered folk art that involves meticulously cutting paper into intricate designs using scissors or knives. They are often used on occasions like festivals and weddings to celebrate and convey well-wishes. For example, the character for "double happiness" (囍) is a common design in wedding paper cuttings, representing joy and good fortune.
